The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide $22.5 million within Multisector Activities Support Facility 2025–2030. The corresponding agreement was approved by the Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
According to Deputy Finance Minister Umutzhan Amanbaev, $13.3 million of these funds will be provided by the ADB as a 32-year loan with an eight-year grace period. The interest rate on the loan during the grace period will be 1 percent, after eight years — 1.5 percent.
The Cabinet of Ministers will receive other $9.7 million in the form of a grant. All these funds will be received by various ministries and departments for social and economic projects.
