A meeting of the CSTO Consultative Coordination Center for Computer Incidents Response was held in Moscow. Delegations of representatives of national authorized bodies for response to computer incidents of the CSTO member states took part in it. The organization’s Telegram channel reported.
The participants discussed current threats to information security and methods of countering them.
A massive increase in the number of attacks using the supply chain, the intensive involvement of various interacting organizations and structures in their implementation were noted.
Particular concern was expressed at the meeting regarding threats associated with leaks of significant amounts of data of individuals and legal entities, as well as attacks through trusted external channels of interaction that contribute to the occurrence of computer incidents.
The participants exchanged views on modern threats and the problem of promptly communicating information about critical software vulnerabilities to the owners of vulnerable resources and responding to them.
