Ambassador and Korean companies discuss assembly of electric buses in Kyrgyzstan

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, Aida Ismailova, visited the factories of leading Korean companies Woojin Industrial Systems and Blue Network, specializing in the production of eco-friendly transport and charging stations for electric vehicles. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

During her visit to Woojin Industrial Systems, which is a leader in the production of electric and hydrogen buses as well as metro and tram rail systems, Ambassador Ismailova held a meeting with the company’s Vice President, Kwan Seok Kim.

The parties discussed plans for establishing an assembly production line for electric buses in Kyrgyzstan, which would support the development of environmentally friendly public transport, improve the environmental situation, and enhance transportation comfort for Kyrgyz citizens.

Aida Ismailova visited the factory of Blue Network, a company specializing in the production of charging stations for electric vehicles. During her meeting with the company’s leadership, they discussed plans for the supply of charging stations to Kyrgyzstan to build infrastructure for electric transport.

Blue Network has already sent samples of their charging stations to Kyrgyzstan, and they are currently undergoing testing. These stations are essential for promoting eco-friendly transport and transitioning to sustainable energy sources.
