President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov congratulated cultural and art figures on their professional holiday — the Day of Cultural Worker. The press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov noted: ancient Kyrgyz writings, carved in stone and telling about centuries-old history and great ancestors, confirm that our wise people were already familiar with writing and culture.
«Our people with a rich centuries-old culture and art contributed to the golden treasury of world art the great epic Manas, which embodies wisdom, spiritual values, boundless thoughts and incomparable strength. It is this great power that has preserved us as an independent people with a rich culture and brought us to this day. Our sacred duty is to pass on this cultural heritage left by our ancestors to future generations!» he said.
The President noted that in the context of the comprehensive globalization of the modern world, preserving national culture is our primary task. The state is doing everything possible to preserve, popularize and disseminate spiritual values. Significant work has been done in this direction and even more remains to be done.
Thus, the State Circus, where the once outstanding artist Uson Kudaibergenov became famous for his Kyrgyz «jigitovka» and became the pride of the nation, has been opened after a complete renovation.
«I am confident that his work will be continued. In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, many social and economic facilities are opening throughout the republic, among which a significant cultural event was the opening of the new building of Manas National Theater, from the stage of which the audience gets acquainted with the spiritual wealth of the people and receives lessons of morality and ethics,» Sadyr Japarov emphasized.
The state is now providing support to the cultural sphere, which previously remained without due attention, he said.
«As you know, we have updated the technical equipment of district cultural centers, created conditions for replenishing the repertoires of theaters and concert organizations, sewing stage costumes and organizing tours. Our goal is to revive the golden age of Kyrgyz culture and once again glorify Kyrgyz art. We want to see new names and faces in all areas of our culture,» the head of state said.
He noted that today’s task is to raise a generation that will continue the path of such outstanding cultural figures as Abdylas Maldybaev, Muratbek Ryskulov, Gapar Aitiev, Byubyusara Beishenalieva, Chingiz Aitmatov, Tologon Kasymbekov, Kaiyrgul Sartbaeva, Bolot Minzhilkiev, Bolot Shamshiev, Samara Toktakunova and other masters of art.
Sadyr Japarov added that the state is ready to support the training and education of young talents, as well as any step aimed at the progress of national culture. Independent Kyrgyzstan, which has made a major economic leap in a short period of time, should reach new heights in the cultural sphere as well.
