At least 34 Kyrgyzstanis, who signed social contract, received interest-free loans. The press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The ministry reminded that the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a program of interest-free lending to participants of social assistance based on a social contract.

The purpose of the program is to provide participants of the social contract with interest-free loans for expansion, support of a business or subsidiary farm organized using previously received funds.

«A participant of a social contract, who has successfully implemented an entrepreneurial initiative as a business entity, having a document confirming that he or she has been conducting entrepreneurial activity for at least six months, has the opportunity to participate in the program to receive an interest-free loan of up to 200,000 soms for three years for the further development of an entrepreneurial initiative in accordance with the approved business plan. Participants receive a discount for three months after receiving an interest-free loan (which is not repaid), and then a monthly payment in equal installments for three years. Receiving an interest-free loan is not limited to the sphere of activity,» the Ministry of Labor noted.

To participate in the program, it is necessary to contact Aiyl Bank OJSC and Eldik Bank.

Recall, a social contract is an agreement between a low-income family and a territorial division of the Ministry of Labor. The family receives 100,000 soms for the development of a small business, but at the same time loses the right to ui-bulogo komok allowance for three years.

At the end of August 2024, Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank began providing preferential loans to participants of the social contract program. The total lending volume for this year is 200 million soms.

According to the Ministry of Finance, by October 3, 2024, at least 17 financing entities in the republic were provided with loans for a total of 3.15 million soms.

In May, President Sadyr Japarov announced that 2 billion soms would be allocated for the implementation of the social contract program in 2024.

At least 2,800 families participated in the project in 2022, and 10,000 — in 2023. This year, it is planned to provide assistance to 20,000 families based on the social contract.
