Journalist Ilyich Kulnazarov was attacked. He himself told 24.kg news agency.
The incident occurred on October 27 at about 10 p.m. near Red Centre shopping centre in Bishkek.
According to the journalist, two or three people approached him and started hitting him for no reason. He resisted, and the attackers fled.
Ilyich Kulnazarov added that he was hit on the ear and chin with an unknown object.
The press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Sverdlovsky district told 24.kg news agency that the incident was registered. Circumstances of the incident are being investigated. The department promised to provide detailed information later.
