Against the background of a 33.5 percent year-on-year decline in electricity exports from the Russian Federation to 5.546 billion kilowatt-hours, Inter RAO Group recorded an increase in exports to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and some other destinations. Energy and Industry of Russia website says.

«The decline in supplies to China is due to restrictions in the Far Eastern energy system,» the holding’s press service explained.

It is noted that the company increased its electricity imports to the Russian Federation by 12.7 percent to 1.603 billion kilowatt-hours (1.423 billion kilowatt-hours for the first nine months of 2023). The growth was mainly due to flows from Kazakhstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
