A Kyrgyzstani took second place at the ultramarathon that took place in Malaysia.
Cyclist Vlad Podofedov finished second at a distance of 1,500 kilometers in Peninsular Divide race. It runs through the continental part of Malaysia from its southernmost to its northernmost point.
It took the Kyrgyzstani 99 hours and 14 minutes (4 days, 3 hours, 14 minutes) to complete the distance, covering an average of 364 kilometers per day.
The winner of the marathon was an athlete from Indonesia with a result of 94 hours and 16 minutes.
