Volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan wins gold at CAVA Championship in Tashkent

Volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan won gold at the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Championship in Tashkent.

In the final match, Kyrgyzstan defeated Uzbekistan 3-0.

Kyrgyzstan was the only team that did not suffer a single defeat in the tournament, confirming its status as the strongest team in the region.

During the tournament, Kyrgyzstan won confident victories over Maldives and Tajikistan 3-0, Turkmenistan 3-1, and Afghanistan 3-1.

 

Kyrgyz players were awarded in individual nominations:

• Best middle blocker — Nurislam Medetbek uulu;
• Best outside spiker — Nurmukhammed Toktoev;
• The best diagonal forward — Onolbek Kanybek uulu;
• The best player of the tournament is Nurmukhammed Toktoev.
