According to him, one of the most striking evidence of achievements is the rapid growth of services exports, which indicates that the country is confidently stepping into the markets of other countries. In 2023, the turnover of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade amounted to almost $5.4 billion and almost doubled compared to 2022.
«We see how Kyrgyzstan is turning from a small link on the world map into an important transport hub connecting countries and continents. We managed to organize the work in such a way that the country’s GDP last year exceeded the mark of 1.2 trillion soms, this year the GDP figures will reach 1.5 trillion soms. In three years, we managed to increase the country’s budget threefold,» the head of the Cabinet added.
Akylbek Japarov said that the leopard was chosen as a symbol of development.
«The leopard clearly sees its goal and knows how to achieve it. It does not lose concentration, closely observes the surroundings from above, chooses the most correct path and acts precisely, with incredible speed and grace. This is exactly the kind of gaze our country should have — focused on the future, bold and unwavering,» he explained.
According to his estimates, new tools for the effective management of state assets will be introduced, investments will be attracted through modern platforms by 2030.
According to the World Bank classification, Kyrgyzstan is confidently rising in terms of GDP per capita and by 2030 it can become a country with an upper-middle income, moving from the current state of a country with a lower-middle income.
