An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 at the epicenter was registered on Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border on October 20. The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to its data, the tremors were recorded at 11.44 p.m. The earthquake center was located in the mountains of Zaalay Range, 29 kilometers southwest of Nura village, 30 kilometers southwest of Ikezyak village, 35 kilometers southwest of Irkeshtam village, 34 kilometers southeast of Kok-Suu village and 35 kilometers east of Bor-Debe village.
The strength of the tremors reached magnitude 3.5 in Nura, Ikezyak, Irkeshtam villages, and magnitude 3 — in Kara-Kindik, Bor-Debe villages.
