Delegates to Kurultai from among Kyrgyzstanis to be determined in Russia

Delegates to the People’s Kurultai from among citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Russia, who work in this country, will be determined. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Moscow reports.

According to the approved quota, 14 people from among compatriots temporarily staying in the Russian Federation will be chosen to become delegates to the forum scheduled for December 20 in Bishkek.

The diplomatic mission has begun accepting applications from Kyrgyz public organizations in Russia wishing to nominate candidates for delegates to the kurultai. It will last until November 4. Applications are accepted at the following address: Moscow, Bolshaya Ordynka Street, Building 64, postal code 115127.

The following persons cannot be delegates to the People’s Kurultai:

• Government and municipal employees, deputies of the Parliament and local councils;
• Foreign citizens (except for labor migrants abroad);
• Persons recognized by a court decision as incompetent;
• Persons with a criminal record that has not been expunged in the manner prescribed by law, as well as persons convicted of serious or especially serious crimes, regardless of whether their criminal record has been expunged or not;
• Persons under 21.
