Within the framework of the project «Emergency support for micro, small and medium enterprises», the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided interest-free loans for a total of 7.8 billion soms, as well as under the project «Financing of agriculture — 12» for 3.92 billion soms. The ministry reported.
To date, 10,750 entrepreneurs have already received assistance.
The largest number of loans were provided under the first category — up to 1 million soms. At least 9,206 entrepreneurs received financing for a total of 5.38 billion soms. Under the second category — up to 3 million soms — loans were provided to 1,544 entrepreneurs for 2.41 billion soms. The project is being implemented throughout Kyrgyzstan and will last until July 2027.
Within the framework of the project «Financing of agriculture — 12» at least 9,314 agricultural producers from Kyrgyzstan received preferential loans for a total of 3.92 billion soms. In particular:
- 8,573 entities received financing in the amount of 3.48 billion soms in the livestock sector;
- 1,341 producers received 440.23 million soms in the crop production sector.
The project is being implemented through Aiyl Bank OJSC and Eldik Bank PJSC with a total lending volume of 5 billion soms.
Information on the project in the regions of the country as of October 10 with the amount of application of 4.03 billion:
- Chui region: 1,854 loans in the amount of 725.09 million soms;
- Issyk-Kul region: 1,575 loans in the amount of 559.75 million soms;
- Talas region: 1,089 loans for 412.14 million soms;
- Naryn region: 1,162 loans for 472.56 million soms;
- Jalal-Abad region: 2,109 loans for 885.87 million soms;
- Osh region: 1,728 loans for 708.08 million soms;
- Batken region: 652 loans for 266.94 million soms.
In total, 10,169 loans for a total of 4.03 billion soms were provided in the republic.
