At least 14 people, who got stuck in a traffic jam on Too-Ashuu pass, sought medical assistance. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.

Of these, nine people — at night, five — today.

«All of them were provided with outpatient care: they had acute respiratory viral infections, high blood pressure,» the ministry said.

Doctors are on duty at Sosnovka post and in Toktogul. In addition, there is a permanent ambulance post in Suusamyr.

Recall, a large traffic jam formed on Too-Ashuu pass due to snowfall and ice. Now the road from the northern and southern parts of the pass is open for the passage of cars that were previously stuck there.

Restrictions have been in effect at Sosnovka and Aral transport control posts for trucks and cars since yesterday. In addition, cars are checked there for the presence of winter tires, anti-skid snow chains and the corresponding inventory (shovels). Cars that are not prepared for autumn-winter conditions will not be allowed through the pass. These measures are taken to ensure unimpeded passage of trucks and cars and to prevent the formation of hours-long artificial traffic jams.
