Suspect in indecent acts against girl detained in Nooken

The duty unit of the Department of Internal Affairs of Nooken district received information that a 52-year-old resident of one of the villages committed sexual acts against a teenager. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The suspect is a relative of the girl. Her parents divorced a long time ago and live separately, leaving their daughter with relatives.

Based on the collected materials, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 158 «Indecent acts» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Investigators found out that, starting from 2023, the man repeatedly committed indecent acts. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.

On October 14, 2024, the Nooken District Court recognized the detention of the suspect as legal and justified. He was remanded in custody for two months.
