Meeting with the Ambassadors of Central Asian countries took place in the UK Foreign Office. Novye Turkestanskiye Vedomosti media outlet reported on its Telegram channel.
It is reported that the meeting participants exchanged views on the prospects for further development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Great Britain and the Central Asian countries. Particular attention was paid to the issues of intensifying political dialogue, expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation, diversifying interaction in the trade, economic and investment spheres, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
«The UK Minister of State Stephen Doughty noted that the new UK government is interested in further developing and expanding comprehensive relations with the Central Asian states,» the statement says.
