Illegal sale of potent drugs was detected at Osh market in Bishkek. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Specialists of the Department of Medicines and Medical products together with employees of the Department of Internal Affairs of Leninsky district carried out operational and preventive measures to eradicate the use of potent drugs among adolescents, leading to so-called pharmaceutical drug abuse.
During the raid, unlicensed entrepreneurial activity by certain individuals with facts of illegal sale of potent drugs on the territory of Osh market and Bereket-Universal shopping complex was detected.
According to the Ministry of Health, during the inspection, one of the entrepreneurs, who illegally sold medicines and medical products, attacked the employees of the department with a knife. The police were called. They seized 20 bottles of the drug Tropicamide, 94 boxes from used drugs Tropicamide, 140 tablets of the drug Trigan-D and 300 boxes from used tablets Trigan D, 20 boxes from used Midaks.
The Pharmaceutical Inspectorate of the department drew up reports and imposed fines for a total of 17,500 soms.
Based on the results of the raid, appropriate examination will be scheduled and other measures will be taken in accordance with the law.
