Former member of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Shailoobek Atazov illegally received part of the stadium named after A. Suyumbaev in Osh when he worked as a boxing coach in the sports committee from 2002 to 2015. The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry reported.
According to it, the ministry appealed to the Osh Regional Court on this matter. On September 25, 2024, at least 84 square meters transferred to Shailoobek Atazov were returned to the stadium.
The press service of the ministry explained to 24.kg news agency that the land under the stadium belongs to the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture and is classified as arable land. The ministry found it difficult to answer whether the stadium would be demolished.
