A meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State took place in Moscow on October 8. The leaders of the Commonwealth countries met in the Kremlin Palace. The meeting was opened by the President of Russia.

Use of national currencies in mutual settlements is expanding in the Commonwealth, today their share exceeds 85 percent and continues to increase;
The fight against terrorism, extremism and crime is a key area of joint work for the CIS countries;
Import substitution processes in the CIS are proceeding rapidly, thereby strengthening the technological sovereignty of the states;
The initiative for a cooperation program in the field of deradicalization in the CIS is timely, it will be approved;
The CIS countries will jointly celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 2025;
Russia will be glad to see the leaders of the CIS states at the BRICS summit in Kazan;
It was proposed to establish the honorary title of City of Labor Glory of the CIS.
