32-year-old man detained on suspicion of murder in Bishkek

Investigators of the Criminal Investigation Department of the capital’s police detained 32-year-old man. He is suspected of murder. The press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek reported.

On October 4, the duty unit of the Department of Internal Affairs of Pervomaisky district received a message that an unknown person had stabbed a man with a knife on Kuliev Street and fled. An investigative group was sent to the scene.

It was found out that a 23-year-old citizen died from injuries in the ambulance without regaining consciousness. A case was opened under the article «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. All necessary examinations have been ordered.

The investigators identified the suspect and detained him. The Pervomaisky District Court placed him in a pretrial detention center for two months. The investigation is ongoing.
