Heads of state hospitals receive from 20,000 to 25,000 soms per month. Deputy Minister of Health Kaarmanbek Baidavletov announced at a meeting of Committee on Social Policy of Parliament.
According to him, the salaries of department heads reach 35,000 soms.
Deputies are considering a bill by Aisuluu Mamashova, which prohibits heads of state hospitals from working in private clinics.
MP Eldar Abakirov noted that if the law is adopted without increasing the salaries of doctors in state hospitals, then professionals may go to the private sector. He proposes adding 40,000-50,000 soms to the existing salary.
