Nazgul Kanybekova has been named the Best Teacher of 2024. The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, she is a mathematics teacher at Bilim school-lyceum at Osh State University.
The Ministry of Education previously reported that this is the first professional competition with a large prize and large-scale participation of teachers.
The teacher who takes first place will get the keys to an apartment in Bishkek.
The ministry added that the purpose of the competition is to form a team of highly qualified specialists of state and municipal organizations of primary, basic, general secondary education, implement a personnel policy aimed at improving the quality of the educational process, identify talented, creative teachers with experience in fruitful work, use of modern educational technologies and methods, and dissemination of advanced pedagogical ideas.
The competition was held as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the national education system.
