A Research Institute of Food Security and Nutrition will be established in Kyrgyzstan by order of President Sadyr Japarov. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev announced at a meeting of the Council for Food Security and Nutrition.
He added that the establishment of the institute will not only allow to carry out scientific research in the field of agronomy and veterinary science, but also develop recommendations for improving technologies of production and processing of agricultural products.
According to Bakyt Torobaev, active cooperation with international organizations and scientific institutions is also planned to implement the best global practices in the field of food security.
