«We are monitoring the events taking place in the Middle East region with deep concern. We call on the conflicting parties to comply with the fundamental principles and norms of international law, including refraining from actions that lead to an escalation of the situation in the region,» the statement of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan says.
«The Kyrgyz Republic stands for consolidation of the efforts of the international community to quickly and completely end military actions, begin political dialogue and peacefully resolve conflicts,» the ministry noted.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic again recommends Kyrgyzstanis to refrain from visiting Israel, Iran and Lebanon «due to the increased risks associated with instability in the region».
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are already in the Middle East region are advised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen their own security measures, avoid mass gatherings of people and strictly follow the requirements and recommendations of the official authorities of the host country.

Israel launched operation Northern Arrows against the Lebanon-based Shiite militant group Hezbollah on September 24, 2024. Israel’s armed forces launch massive airstrikes against its facilities in various parts of Lebanon.
The death of Hezbollah leader and co-founder Hassan Nasrallah was officially announced on September 28. He and a number of senior leaders of the organization were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the group’s underground headquarters.
