The deadline for voluntary asset declaration is December 31, 2024, the State Service for Regulation and Supervision over the Financial Market of Kyrgyzstan reminds.
According to the Law «On voluntary legalization and amnesty of assets of individuals», it is possible to withdraw property and income into the official economy. A legal mechanism for legalization through voluntary declaration is provided for this.
«This applies to assets that belong to individuals as of January 1, 2023, even if they are registered to other people or are located outside Kyrgyzstan, but actually belong to the declarant,» the state service explained.
The law also provides for norms according to which, in connection with the destruction of single tax declarations, previously declared assets can be included in a special declaration at the discretion of the subject of the declaration.
