President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov called to thank Tai-Muras, the son of the head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, for building a toll bypass road in Uzgen. He said this in an interview with Kabar news agency.
According to the media outlet, opposition journalists reported that Tai-Muras Tashiev’s firm is among the private companies building the said road.
Sadyr Japarov noted that before building the bypass road, they had a long discussion with the Cabinet of Ministers about the amount of money that would be spent, where to find these funds and how long it would take for the road to pay for itself. The President decided that it would be wrong to invest state money in such long-term projects.
Maybe we should thank Tai-Muras, who is building a bypass road in Uzgen. We should be grateful that he found people who have money, investors and is building. Would Tai-Muras involve his company in the implementation of this project, if it would harm the state? In this case, he knows very well that everything will soon become known.

The President emphasized that this is why Tai-Muras Tashiev is confidently doing this, because he knows that he is bringing benefits to the country.
In addition, Sadyr Japarov noted that the state was ready to give not only the bypass road, but also other highways to private companies, if they are ready to build them.
These are Suusamyr — Aral highway to the alternative North-South road (115 kilometers), Almaty — Kemin — Issyk-Kul (150 kilometers), Bishkek — Kemin bypass road (105 kilometers), Almaty — Uzynygash — Kara-Kastek — Suranshy-Baatyr — Kastek — Karasay-Baatyr (88.4 kilometers), the bypass road in Osh city (35 kilometers) and 12 kilometers of the highway in Nookat.
