A demonstration center, aimed at the implementation of small projects to improve the social and economic potential of the regions of Kyrgyzstan, was opened on the basis of Kyrgyzindustry OJSC. The Ministry of Agriculture reported.
The demonstration center provides practical instructions to entrepreneurs, farmers, local government bodies on opening small and medium-sized enterprises, processing and production of products.
At the event, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev told about the need to open small processing agricultural production facilities adapted to the regions in each district. In his speech, he mentioned the issue of wool processing as an example.
«We have shown a small wool processing production, convenient for these regions and the cost of which is less than 2 million soms. I would like to clearly warn akims and heads of regional agrarian development departments. The president said to me that in any district, be it Osh, At-Bashi, Tyup, Kara-Kuldzha, if wool lies on the ground, the akim of this district will be fired. Do not think that this is a trifle,» he said.
The center shows examples of small business projects, discusses their development, and promotes attraction of international investments. The main goal is to demonstrate the work of the center, present the initiatives of partners, attract international and domestic investment, and establish partnerships to support small business and innovation projects in the regions.
