The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan (MES) delivered 120 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
According to the ministry, the food products were delivered to a local warehouse. Humanitarian aid was organized on the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in February 2024, during the meeting of the 6th Regional Dialogue of Secretaries of Security Councils/National Security Advisers on Afghanistan and the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, the head of state called on the international community to unite and support the people of Afghanistan.
Earlier, the Kyrgyz Republic also provided humanitarian aid to residents of Afghanistan affected by the natural disaster.
