A 14-year-old girl gave birth in one of the maternity hospitals in Bishkek, the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Jalal-Abad region informed 24.kg news agency.
On September 19, the 102 service received a message that a minor, who came to Bishkek from Kara-Kul town in Jalal-Abad region, gave birth to baby in the maternity hospital of the Center for Maternity and Child Welfare. The fact was registered and a case was opened under the article «Rape» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. All necessary examinations have been ordered.
The investigators found out that the girl was raped by her 15-year-old brother using physical force. According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Jalal-Abad region, the teenager admitted his guilt. On September 29, the Kara-Kul District Court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest for two months. The investigation continues.
