Rent of apartments in the capitals of Central Asian countries varied significantly in August and September 2024. According to ASIA-Plus data, the lowest housing rent was registered in Ashgabat, while the highest — in Astana and Bishkek.
The average rent of a one-bedroom apartment in Dushanbe ranged from $160 to $360 per month. Two-room apartment rent ranged from $500 to $700, while the rent of three-room apartments was only slightly higher than two-room apartments.
In Ashgabat, rent of a one-bedroom apartment of 40 square meters was about $240 per month. A two-room apartment rent was on average $320, and a three-room apartment — $410.
Astana and Bishkek showed the highest rental prices. Rent of one-room apartments there ranged from $440 to $520, two-room apartments from $670 to $1,520, and three-room apartments from $1,140 to $2,130.
In Tashkent, rental prices approached the levels recorded in Bishkek. The average rent of a one-room apartment amounted to $420, a two-room apartment — $700, and a three-room apartment — $1,000.
