The profit of the state-owned enterprise Kyrgyzfarmatsiya in 2023 amounted to 28 million soms. The Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev announced at a meeting of Ata-Zhurt parliamentary faction.
He told that Kyrgyzfarmatsiya brings in medicines and medical equipment that were previously purchased through the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund cheaper by 200-600 percent, concluding agreements directly with manufacturers.
«For example, Atorvastatin was previously purchased through a tender for 17 soms per piece, now Kyrgyzfarmatsiya brings it in for 1.33 soms. Ceftriaxone was purchased for 220 soms, the state enterprise buys it for 52.74 soms,» the official said.
He also noted that last year the ministry was going to buy 20 fluorographs through a tender for 10 million soms each, but Kyrgyzfarmatsiya purchased them from the manufacturer for 6 million soms, and used the money saved to buy 11 other devices.
