Russia has become the main market for export of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan in January — August 2024. The Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic reported on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that during the specified period, 44,400 tons of potatoes were exported from the Kyrgyz Republic. Deliveries to Uzbekistan amounted to 25,900 tons, Kazakhstan — 12,800 tons, Russia — 5,600 tons.
Nut exports amounted to 53,800 tons (deliveries to Russia and Turkey — 26,600 tons each).
Exports of fruits reached 77,300 tons. Among them are apricots, a significant part of which was sent to Russia — 16,300 tons and Kazakhstan — 5,100 tons. Deliveries of apples also take an important share: 6,200 tons were exported to Kazakhstan and 4,200 tons to Russia.
Exports of dried fruits totaled 16,500 tons. The main sales market was Russia, where 13,700 tons were shipped.
