Production volumes are expected to increase in various industries of Kyrgyzstan. Almaz Abdekirov, head of the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy, told about the enterprises that will ensure growth.
According to him, an increase of 8.5 percent is expected in the light industry due to the development of clothing production and the opening of the second stage of construction of the textile factory Textile Trans.
Food processing will grow by 6 percent due to the unification of farmers and agents, as well as the financing of 18 export-oriented clusters. The production of petroleum products should increase by 5-6 percent due to the modernization of Junda oil refinery and Kyrgyz Petroleum Company. Coal mining will grow by 7.6 percent.
Growth of 14-15 percent is expected in the construction sector due to the launch of new plants, including ceramics and cement ones. It is also planned to increase capacity for the assembly of cars with electric engines, which will lead to an increase in production by 8 percent.
Kyrgyzindustry company is implementing more than 20 projects, including the production of building materials and medical products. As for the pharmaceutical industry, it is planned to open a new plant for the production of medical solutions by mid-2024, which could provide growth of 8.2 percent.
