Marat Imankulov made a speech at the 3rd meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which was held in Turkistan city (Kazakhstan). The press service of the presidential administration reported.
In his speech, the Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan emphasized the importance of joint actions in the context of global instability and increasing threats.
«It is necessary not only to control the situation, but also to direct efforts to ensure sustainable law, order and stability. We pay special attention to the risks of using weapons of mass destruction in current military conflicts and the importance of prevention of further escalation,» the statement says.
In addition, Marat Imankulov touched upon the issues of combating terrorism, extremism, as well as the need to ensure water, energy and food security.
