The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan held an online meeting for the heads of police bodies. Ulan Niyazbekov reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its territorial divisions are starting work on introduction of the Safe City system throughout the country.
Recall, the country’s president signed the decree on the implementation of Safe City component of Smart City project on September 18. According to the document, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is designated as the authorized state body responsible for coordination of its implementation.
The minister called on his subordinates to work closely with the information technology department and the financial and economic support department. He threatened to apply strict measures to those, who do not comply with the requirements of the presidential decree.
