Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev denied rumors about a possible dissolution of Parliament and a reduction in the number of deputies at its meeting.
According to Shakiev, rumors have appeared in recent days that significant political changes are expected in the country, including a possible referendum, dissolution of Parliament, and a reduction in the number of deputies. He noted that these claims are false.
«We continue to ensure political stability and achieve high economic indicators. No political changes are planned. Preparations for local elections are ahead, and our goal is to hold them transparently and with dignity. This morning we discussed this issue with the country’s leadership. There will be no changes,» Nurlanbek Shakiev said.
