A foreigner illegally recruited Kyrgyzstanis to work in Russia. The press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration reported.
The foreigner’s illegal activity was detected as a result of joint work of the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labor and the Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was found out during an inspection that the foreign citizen, without the appropriate permission and legal grounds, carried out recruiting activities, promising employment in the Russian Federation at various construction sites.
«The organizer of the illegal recruitment attracted citizens through social media and other unofficial channels, offering «quick» employment without observing legal procedures, which put the lives and safety of people at risk. Investigative measures are being carried out against him for violation of the external labor migration legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Citizens waiting for employment were provided with advisory and legal assistance,» the ministry added.
The ministry recommends citizens to be cautious and check agency’s permits before seeking employment abroad. This can be done by contacting the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad or by visiting the website migrant.kg.
