At least 9,695 farmers received preferential loans under the project Financing of Agriculture — 12 as of September 12. The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The total amount of lending under this project in 2024 reached 3,837,473 billion soms.
Most of the loans were issued for livestock breeding — 8,386 loans in the total amount of 3,410,393 billion soms. At least 1,309 farmers received loans in the total amount of 427,080 million soms for crop production.
Preferential loans for agriculture are provided by two state-owned banks Eldik Bank and Aiyl Bank.
