The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported details of the search of the office of a parliamentary deputy Gulkan Moldobekova. Earlier, 24.kg news agency reported on the detention of two assistants of the deputy.
According to the security services, the consultant of the deputy from Alliance faction Gulkan Moldobekova was detained.
«He is accused of fraud and forgery of official documents. As a result of operational and investigative measures, it was found out that the man presented forged documents and false information about himself in 2021 when applying for a job in the Parliament. Thus, having been illegally employed, he received a salary and bonuses. The total damage caused to the country’s budget is being calculated,» the SCNS said.
The detainee reportedly used the name of the country’s top leadership to provide intermediary services and resolve various issues for a large monetary reward.
