The women’s team of Kyrgyzstan won a gold medal at the Challenge Cup of the Central Asian Volleyball Confederation (CAVA), which was held in Male (Maldives). The games can be watched on YouTube.
In the final, the Kyrgyzstanis defeated the volleyball players of the Maldives in five sets — 3:2.
Earlier, the Kyrgyzstanis defeated their opponents from Tajikistan (3:0), Afghanistan (3:0) and the Maldives (3:0) and took first place in the group tournament with nine points. They won the match with Afghanistan (3:0) for reaching the final.
In July, the women’s team of the Kyrgyz Republic (U 20) also won the championship of the Central Asian Volleyball Association.
