The Paralympic team of Kyrgyzstan, who arrived from Paris, was welcomed at Manas International Airport.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov congratulated the athletes on their successful participation in the Games and expressed pride in their achievements.
«Today we honor not just Paralympians, but real heroes. You are an example of courage, fortitude and unbending will. You show that, despite any obstacles in life, you can reach the greatest heights. On behalf of the President of the country and the Cabinet of Ministers, we express our gratitude to you for your achievements. We are proud of you, and all of Kyrgyzstan sees your strength and fortitude today. Your victories are a source of pride for the republic, and we will continue to create all the conditions for the development of Paralympic sports in our country,» he said.
The athletes were awarded cash certificates for 500,000 soms each.
Recall, the blind runner Gulnaz Zhuzbaeva with a guide Yulia Fernas and triathlete Aytunuk Zhoomart kyzy with guide Angelina Blindul, judoka Mamatibraim Suranov, and powerlifter Mirgul Bolotalieva represented Kyrgyzstan at the Paralympic Games.
