Export of new cars from Kyrgyzstan to Russia increased 2.5 times in August, compared to July. The Russian analytical agency Autostat reported.
According to the results of the last month of summer, the Kyrgyz Republic exported 2,200 new passenger cars to the Russian Federation. Exports in July amounted to less than 1,000 units.
At the same time, according to analysts, the export of motor vehicles from Kyrgyzstan to Russia in August 2024 was 44.5 percent lower than for the same period in 2023.
Supplies from the Kyrgyz Republic accounted for 2.5 percent in the total volume of car imports to the Russian Federation.
Kyrgyzstan ranked second in the export of new cars to Russia at the end of last year.
