Accused of murder organized crime group member attempts to flee to Kazakhstan

An active member of the organized crime group of a crime boss nicknamed Dzhengo was detained while trying to cross the state border at Ak-Zhol-Avtodorozhny checkpoint, the press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

According to it, the member of crime group was convicted of murder.

In October 2023, a search was conducted in the house of the 32-year-old member of Dzhengo organized crime group. A sawed-off shotgun and ammunition were found there. The security services added that the man then managed to hide from law enforcement agencies. A year later, in early September 2024, he was detained while trying to leave for Kazakhstan.

The man was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Department of State Committee for National Security for Jalal-Abad region, where investigative measures are being carried out.
