President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with the winners of the World U17 Wrestling Championship in Yntymak Ordo on September 4, and presented them and their coaches with money rewards. The press service of the head of state reported.
Athletes Kursantbek Isakov, Omurbek Asan uulu and Rustamzhan Kakharov received 600,000 soms each, Kutman Kalbaev — 400,000 and Bekzhan Beishembaev — 200,000 soms.
Senior coaches Azat Mirakhimov and Dastan Muktarov received 150,000 soms each from the president. Four personal coaches Rustam Kocharov, Abdurashit Mamasabirov, Aibek Berdaliev and Ratbek Mambetov — 100,000 each.
In his speech, Sadyr Japarov noted that on the eve of the celebration of the country’s Independence Day and the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, young wrestlers presented a wonderful gift to the Kyrgyz people.
He emphasized that this year, without a doubt, was successful for domestic athletes. Kyrgyzstanis won six medals at the Summer Olympics in Paris, updating the history of Kyrgyz sports.
The head of state concluded his speech by urging athletes not to allow themselves to be involved in criminal matters or political games.
