The main festive events on Independence Day will be held in Bishkek. The Presidential Executive Office confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
They noted that this is due to the fact that Kyrgyzstanis will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region.
A new administration building, as well as a number of social and industrial facilities are expected to be opened by the date.
Recall, the main events on Independence Day were held in Osh city in 2023, in 2022 — in Chunkurchak Gorge in Chui region. Then the head of state Sadyr Japarov noted that «from now on, we intend to make it a tradition to hold annual Independence Day celebrations in each region».
