Mortgage houses will be built on land returned to the state in Kemin district of Chui region. Spokesman for the President Askat Alagozov reported.
According to him, the land will be transferred to the state mortgage company. This decision was made by the head of state.
«Residential buildings will have 9 floors. The area will be called Kemin City. It is expected that more than 100,000 families will receive housing there,» Askat Alagozov wrote.
Construction will begin in March-April 2025.
Earlier, the State Committee for National Security returned to state ownership 353.3 hectares of industrial land in Kemin district, illegally privatized by former deputy of the Parliament Nurlan Makeyev.
