The World Youth Wrestling Championship has kicked off in Jordan. Kyrgyzstan’s Greco-Roman wrestling team member Kutman Kalbaev has reached the finals.

The athlete competes in the 51-kilogram weight category. In the 1/8, he defeated his opponent from Armenia with a score 13:3, and in the 1/4, he was stronger than his opponent from Georgia, winning the bout with a score 7:2. In the semifinals, the Kyrgyzstani defeated an Iranian wrestler with a score 8:7.
In the final, Kutman Kalbaev will compete with Azerbaijani wrestler Turan Dashdamirov.
