The rock band from Kyrgyzstan The Rolls will take part in The Beatles world festival. The band’s website says.
International Beatleweek is the largest world festival dedicated to the work of The Beatles, which has been held annually since the 1980s in Liverpool (United Kingdom). The band was supposed to perform at the festival in 2020, but did not get there due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The festival will be held from August 21 to August 27, 2024. It will feature 70 popular music bands from different countries of the world. The Kyrgyz rock band The Rolls will be represented at this music festival for the first time. It is also the only one from the CIS countries.
«This is not even a dream, but the goal of the musicians of our group, promoting the music of The Beatles, to get to this famous festival in Liverpool. The whole world knows and sings the songs of The Beatles, because they are about a person and his experiences, about love and peace. And what could be more important than this at all times?» the lead guitarist Daniyar Dzhumanazarov noted.
