Heavy rains: Houses flooded in Ak-Sai village, Ton district

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan received information that residential houses were flooded on Zhuma Zhamgyrchiev Street in Ak-Sai village, Ton district as a result of heavy rains.

According to the press service of the ministry, an operational group and a civil defense commission left for the scene.

Flood waters flooded the courtyards of 30 residential buildings in Ak-Sai village. Eight people, including a six-year-old child, were evacuated (temporary relocation to a safe place).

Additionally, 20 employees of the fire and rescue unit No. 38 of Ton district of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved. Pumping of water is underway.
