Competitions in sport and combat sambo continue in Cholpon-Ata city as part of the second stage of the World Cup. Women in the up to 50 kilogram weight category competed for medals on the second day.
Tatyana Fedorova (Russia) took the first place, second — Margarita Bazhaeva from Kazakhstan. Aziza Nazarova from Turkmenistan shared third place with the representative of Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, another Kyrgyzstani Yuson kyzy Akak took third place in the up to 54 kilogram weight category at the sport sambo tournament.
The Russian team participates in all tournaments, except for national ones, under the name FIAS-1 with the flag and anthem of the International Sambo Federation.
